Default Sketchup Model

This sword took me about 15 minutes to make using Sketchup (modelling program for idiots), first time i've used it so don't expect anything great

Video on YouTube

Oh yeah, sketchup is free if you download the "google" version. So if anyone else has any models they've made on it post 'em here.

Ahh, just the thread I was looking for . Never used sketchup, but I love to play around in 3d modelling programs...

Unfortunately I suck at applying textures, sooo....

^^ Hopefully it's obvious what that is

And of course my work in progress...

Aah nice artworks, I think you guys should try to work with Blender3D. Blender3D is a totally free software program for 3d modeling, rendering, game creation, 3d animations and much more. It's opesource s if you know some c/c++ programming you can add your own features. I use it a lot and at the beginning it seams to be hard, but following the tutorials on there wiki page called "noob to pro" you get quite fast the hanf of it. Check http://www.blender3d.org

Keep going, maybe I'll post a sword as well some day.

Unfortunatly, i have the software knowledge of a chimp.. so i'll stick with sketchup.
Also, that Crystalline looks great!

Anyways, i've had an attempt at modelling something simpler.. a hammer this time.
